even though i interned at cosmogirl! last semester and therefore am biased, i have to praise this month’s issue. i excitedly picked up the april issue today in walmart (yes i am 21 and like to read it, so what?) and flipped to page 60. there it is. a 2-page spread titled “o canada!” praising all the hot and talented actors that came out of maple leaf country. thank you! i thought i was the only one who noticed a trend.

if you’ve kept up with my blog, you’ve probably noticed i’m partial to canadian actors. truthfully, i’ve never been to canada and really don’t know too much about it. but, what i do know is that it’s a breeding ground for leading men. let’s look at exhibit a: joshua jackson (who incidentally wasn’t featured). he’s probably a little old for the cg! crowd, but nonetheless at the top of my list. i really can’t say enough about him. and then we have the featured michael cera, ryan gosling, ryan reynolds, hayden christensen, and gregory smith, among others. i especially love gosling, cera and smith. i think that each has such natural talent and i am happy a magazine that i not only love but got to be a part of, picked up on this. sweet. now all i have to do is take a trip up and catch a hockey game.

ps. i have to mention the older and excluded matthew perry who i absolutely adore. friends reruns all around. yeah, you know you watch it on tbs too.
