wow. monday night’s gossip girl delivered. it set the groundwork for the rest of the season. first, serena has a secret. yes, another one. throughout the episode, she received letters, drugs and porn from a mysterious person she thought to be chuck. because of this chuck was thrown out of the house. turns out it’s from “g.” we will learn next week that this “g” person is in fact michelle tractenburg’s character. apparently they got in a bit of trouble together. it’s gotta be murder or something really bad. that’s my guess at least. we’ll see. also, there are some damning photos of “g” or georgina, kissing dan humphrey, serena’s boyfriend. uh oh.

now little jenny humphrey (ok, how is this actress only 14 years old?!?) is in all kinds of mess with blair and the “cool girls,” which really consist of a bunch of girls who do actually look 14. the age disparity between the actors is kinda of bothersome if you ask me. chace crawford looks a hell of a lot older than these girls. but anyway, blair tried to get her friends back at the expense of jenny. didn’t work. jenny showed up with none other than nate, blair’s ex. drama. i’d like to see nate and jenny get together and cause more stir!

then we have chuck and blair. nothing seemed to advance in this plot line, but i guarantee we are left with something really good by the end of the season. they are probably my favorite. so much animosity yet so much chemistry. i mean, dan and serena are cute. but, 100 percent boring. we’ll see what happens. i doubt serena’s mom is going to end up marrying chuck’s dad. i mean, dan’s dad is still in love with her. wow, i just confused myself. but yeah, pretty much everyone on this show has hooked up with the other. like every other teen drama. that brings me to my post later about my slight interest in one tree hill. i’ve never been a fan. probably because i was too devoted to dawson’s creek to get wrapped up in it’s replacement, but yeah, every single person on that show has been “in love with” the other. puh-lease.

ps. yes, that gross kiss is between penn badgley and michelle tractenburg’s characters. gag.
