so, we got a lot going on tonight! gossip girl and one tree hill are both new, and if you are like me and end up getting sucked into the fakeness that is the hills, you will be tuning into that too at 10. but let’s start with…

gossip girl. according to the previews, the shit is about to hit the fan. serena, for some unknown reason that i suspect has a lot to do with this new chick georgina, sleeps with someone else. what the hell. and then of course, dan is upset and says “i’m done with this.” you know the drill-breakup ensues. meanwhile, georgina, the devilish newby that caused all this, ends up getting with dan somehow. oh, the drama. not sure what else is going on, but i am sure that we will see the backlash of eric’s coming out and more blair/jenny drama. where’s the blair/chuck love? that’s what i want to see!

ps. what’s with this new gossip girl ad? scandalousssss.

one tree hill. looks like lucas and peyton are getting back together. um, wrong. the preview shows them laying down on the bed together getting ready to hook up, but come on. i know that is just a clever ruse intended to get every “leyton” fan’s hopes up (ps. leyton means lucas/peyton, brucas means brooke and lucas etc…yes, fans have come up with their own lingo). anyway, i heard that just as they are about to hook up, lucas tells peyton he hates her. um, whatever. this is all just a wedge to drive them apart so they can eventually get together in the end. from my view, i think brooke and lucas are done for good no matter how many times the writers try and make us believe otherwise. sure, lucas helping brooke with this new baby is nice and all, but it is all a way to throw us off. mark my words: lucas and peyton will end up together. anyway, that’s just what i think. i’ve only been watching for a few months and sparingly over the past few years. personally, i say bring back some more “brase” (brooke/chase) action. gotta love that stephen colletti.

speaking of stephen, that brings us to the last of our lineup tonight. the hills. at this point, i am just watching because of him. lo pisses me off, audrina is just so blah (i mean, what’s with the monotone, girl?) and the lauren/heidi drama is so played out. and spencer? gross. i will be tuning in out of a pure involuntary need to see how this season ends. and to look at stephen’s pretty face of course.
