wow. a lot went down monday night. let’s recap…

gossip girl. wow, i hate that georgina chick. basically she is blackmailing serena who was taped doing drugs with a guy who overdosed and died. when she said she killed someone, i thought she meant literally. the guy was an addict and they were his drugs. whatever. it was crazy to see blair, nate and chuck team up to try and help serena. one of the best lines of the night was when chuck said, “let’s get the bitch.” hil-arious. serena, like a dumbass, tells dan she cheated on him (when in fact she didn’t) just to cover up her murder that wasn’t really a murder. so, of course, dan finds comfort in the manipulative georgina, they kiss and we are left to presume they sleep together. disgusting. i’m pretty sure dan and serena are over for now. can’t say i didn’t see that one coming.

meanwhile, nate and vanessa are boring me with their awkward relationship. blair and chuck…love it. nothing really happened but a preview for the next episode looks like we will be getting some much-anticipated bass/waldorf love. as for jenny, she wasn’t even in the episode and i can’t really complain. anyway, here’s the preview released for next week’s season finale. it’s gonna be a good one.

one tree hill. also a lot going down. first, lucas tells peyton that he hates her and wishes she never came back. harsh. but he was drunk and i think he just said that because he know he’s not over her and he can’t get over her, thus ruining his relationship with lindsay etc. just what i think. meanwhile, lindsay is seeing someone else, which also set lucas over the edge and caused him to attack a player during the basketball game. brooke’s baby had surgery by a hot doctor (seriously, are all tv doctors gorgeous or what?). anyway, it looks like something might be brewing between the two of them. although there have been hints over the last few episodes that brooke and lucas might reconcile, i think their scenes are placed to throw us off. i don’t see them getting back together.

nathan and his father’s relationship is still on the rocks. haley doesn’t want him in the picture as she wants to protect her son, but she eventually lets him see his grandfather (who is still dying by the way). she tells dan she did it for jamie, not for him. and one of the craziest (and gross) hookups ever…deb and skillz. what the? yeah, that was pretty strange and uncomfortable. they found each other on the internet and ending up hooking up despite the awkwardness.

anyway, next week’s finale looks good. just like every other one tree hill preview (the lucas/peyton hookup preview from last week wasn’t even in the episode!), it seems they are messing with us. we see lucas on the phone, saying he has two tickets to vegas. but who did he call? we see a split screen of lindsay, peyton and brooke. this of course, is to make us believe that they are off to get married. uh oh. i heard brooke and angie (the baby) are at the airport. i swear, they better not get married. brooke would be stupid for marrying lucas knowing he doesn’t lover her. perhaps brooke is there to help find peyton who runs off after the whole “i hate you” thing. my prediction. i think brooke is just an accomplice, not the love interest. i hope, at least. brooke needs to get back with chase, who actually likes her. i mean how many times does lucas have to cheat on her and tell other girls he loves them for brooke to realize. either way, that preview is all b.s. to me. here’s the preview for you…take it with a grain of salt.

as for gossip about the gossip cast, looks like that rumor of penn/blake (dan/serena) dating off-camera as well is true. here’s one of the photos just released from their vaca in mexico…
