that’s right, here are my fav music moments from one tree hill season 2. yeah i know, i’m a junkie.

5. The Veils: Lavinia

just an amazing song and a great cliffhanger ending to season 2.

4. courtney jay: can you sleep?

my all-time favorite lucas/haley scene. seriously, probably the only male-female pair on any teen drama that has never hooked up. i love their friendship and in this scene, chad’s acting actually impressed me. when she hands him the divorce papers, his reaction is great. and the music is so subtle yet so perfect that it had to make my list.

3. keane: she has no time

one of the most heartbreaking naley scenes ever…nathan finds haley gone. so sad. love the flashback and love brooke’s speech too.

2. vanessa carlton: who’s to say

if i had to pick one tv character who should have been a series regular it’s jake jagielski. hands down. and i think mark schwahn knows it. my love for jake and peyton almost surpasses my love for lucas and peyton. in fact, it probably does. watching him get arrested because he wanted to protect his daughter and then seeing the “i love you’s” exchanged between him and peyton. perfect. plus, i love vanessa carlton. win-win.

1. jimmy eat world: hear you me

always loved jimmy eat world. this song is one of their best and clearly that’s why it’s been used in so many films and tv shows. nevertheless, it made the perfect CODA for season 2′s penultimate episode. i am not a brucas fan at all. at all. but the looks they give each other in this song <3. that thrown in with jake and peyton’s sad goodbye and nathan’s heartbreak made it one of my favorite music moments of all time.

runner up: jimmy eat world: 23

jake returns. enough said. didn’t want to give jimmy eat world two spots but…yeah.

runner up: Athlete: Wires

not a big brucas fan but i love this scene. it’s one of the only scenes between them that seems genuine to me. i think the song goes perfectly along with the kiss and confession.

runner up: susie suh: all i want

again, another amazing jake and peyton moment. the breakup scene to be exact. i cry every time.
