warning: if you’re not a glee fan and not a fan of finn, you might not like what you’re about to read. but if that’s the case, you must also be a robot, so i don’t really care

anyway here we go….

10. sad clown hooker. (hairography)

rachel takes some not-so-good advice from kurt and dresses up as sandy from grease, much to finn’s horror. underneath the insults, he tells her that she should just be herself because that’s what he really likes about her. hell, he even compliments her sequined leg warmers. that’s love.

9. “that kiss was real.” (the rhodes not taken)

while trying to scheme to get rachel back into the club, finn gets caught up in a kiss with her. but when rachel finds out why he took her on a date and that quinn is preggers, she slaps him. he may have lied, but he admits that the kiss was the real thing.

8. hello goodbye hang on (hell-o)

first rachel loved finn but he was with quinn. then finn loved rachel but she was with jesse. all this tension played itself out perfectly in the group’s rendition of “hello goodbye.” they just can’t seem to get the timing right. and the ending shows that neither is ready to let go just yet.

7. jealous finn (mash-up)

i love nothing more than watching finn get jealous. because for the longest time, it was hard to get his feelings for rachel to even show. so when i saw his reaction to puck singing to rachel, i couldn’t help but smile. don’t think we didn’t catch your envious eyes, finn.

6. jessie’s girl. (laryngitis)

swoonnnnn. seriously, who didn’t want cory monteith in this moment? ahhh. he never sounded better and damn, he never looked better. and finally, finn is letting everyone know about his feelings for rachel. bout time.

5. “nobody likes me.”….”i like you.” (wheels)

should he be saying this to a girl when he has a pregnant girlfriend? ehhh, but this moment was so subtle and cute. i think the best moments between finn and rachel are the subtle looks and the subtle yet obvious admiration. it’s what makes this couple great.

4. the duets.

i couldn’t pick just one. “faithfully,” “no air,” “borderline/open your heart”—they’re all amazing. i even love the little moments in “somebody to love,” “don’t stop believin,” and “total eclipse” because they say so much about how the characters are feeling without dialogue. come on, i’m not the only one who got all that subtext during “total eclipse?” or all the sexual attraction in “borderline?”

3. “i don’t give up that easy.” (hell-o)

after finn’s ego breaks up with rachel, she goes off and finds love (or more infatuation) with vocal adrenaline’s lead guy jesse. soon after breaking up and going on an unsuccessful date with santana and brittany, finn realizes maybe rachel is the only girl that really gets him. too late, she says. although, you can see it in her eyes that she’s definitely not over him. well, as he adorably says to her…he’s not just a random guy and he’s going to fight for her.

2. the first kiss. (showmance)

this is where i fell in love with them. the whole moment was so realistically awkward and you could feel the sexual tension through the tv screen! i just thought it was adorable how vulnerable they both were in the moment. finn’s supposed to be this popular jock, but shows his nervous side while spending some alone time with the most hated girl in the school.

rachel: “you can kiss me if you want to.”

finn: “i want to.”

1. finn’s surprisingly early and adorable “i love you.” (journey)

um, how could you not “aw” at that moment? i know a lot of people found it premature (no pun intended, i swear!), but to be honest, i thought it was perfect. he didn’t plan it. he just blurted it out in the most perfect way. besides, after a season-long struggle for finn, i think it’s safe to say rachel is the only one who’s always there for him.

rachel: “break a leg.”

finn: “i love you.”

…ok so basically this post just proved my obsession for cory monteith. oh well.

annie. i admit. i didn’t suspect her at all! well too bad for cbs, she’s gone. she was evicted in week 1 by an anonymous vote. cbs fail if you ask me. meanwhile, rachel wins the hoh. ugh. hoping britney and monet or someone equally annoying gets nominated. what did you guys think of this “twist?” lame. lame. lame.

ok so i apologize for those of you that read my blog and don’t watch glee. ok, i don’t apologize because you SHOULD be watching it. i know it’s been glee-ed out for the past few weeks around here. i get in these phases when i really like something whether it be music, a movie, a magazine or a tv show. and right now, i’m on a glee fix. don’t worry. i will post about other stuff too.

Question: When will all of the baby drama come out in the open on Glee? Finn and Will both need to get a clue. —Caroline
Ausiello: The truth comes out at some point between “Wheels” (episode 9) and “Sectionals” (episode 13).

the glee clubbers are slacking because they think they can just brush through sectionals without problem. so to pump them up a little bit, mr. schuster (will) decides to have a little friendly boys vs. girls competition. finn is overly drained lately juggling football, glee and his pregnant girlfriend so he visits the school nurse…

terri. that’s right. will’s paranoid and–let’s be honest–crazy wife decides to connive her way into the vacant school nurse position after the ever irritating and demanding sue sylvester tells her that there is something going on between emma and will. although we’ve seen HEAVY flirtation via major eye contact and giggling, nothing’s really happened. anyway, will is not thrilled to know his wife is going to be working with him and constantly in his face about things.

the unqualified terri gives finn some over-the-counter pills (not exactly sure what they were, something like sudafed, which in large amounts can be used in the making of meth) and finn becomes overly alert. the boys also take some pills and perform their mash-up of usher’s “confessions” and bon jovi’s “it’s my life.” while they aren’t my favorite songs, i gotta say the boys killed it in their performance. the girls (as well as i) were impressed. and a little panicked about their own performance, which they planned on winging.

after kurt spills the beans about the pills to the girls, they decide to even the playing field by taking them too. the next day, they go nuts with their rendition of beyonce’s “halo” and “walking on sunshine,” originally performed by katrina & the waves. while i liked their musical selection better, i still think the boys outperformed them. the girls were a little too hyped up for me. wayyyy over the top. but nonetheless, still great tv.

the principal eventually reprimands terri after finding out about the distribution of the drugs and forces her to resign, much to the surprise of her annoyed and shocked husband. will is disappointed with the glee kids too. as punishment, a co-director is brought in to help supervise the club. and it’s none other than sue. this should be interesting…

meanwhile, terri is after emma and gives her a threatful speech about being in love with will. the ever-polite emma just sits there quietly for the most part (probably because she knows that terri has a point). terri enlists ken to help her break the two up, and suggest ken ask emma to marry him, which he does. she eventually agrees, knowing that she and will can never be together and ken is a decent man even despite his crude nature. come on, we all know things are going to change as soon as will realizes his wife is crazy and faking a pregnancy. oh and about that, it looks like quinn is actually considering giving her baby to crazy terri. another thing i see changing after everyone finds out the baby is actually puck’s.

while i wish there were a few more musical numbers, i thought it was a decent episode. a lot happened and i am excited to see how everything goes down once the truths start coming out. and yes, of course i want to see a rachel/finn and will/emma hookup! but no rush! i like the will-they-won’t-they aspect for as long as i can stand it. by the way, am i the only one that wouldn’t mind seeing puck and quinn get together?

it’s a long overdue friends marathon night. don’t hate.
