to be honest, i’ve never been a huge fan of eminem. sure, i liked his first couple albums. i was in high school when they came out and it’s when he literally just blew up. his lyrics were funny, clever and well, crazy. people were in shock mode and parents switched into attack mode. but he had talent and that was it. after several mediocre follow-up albums, he finally released an LP that’s worth listening to. and this is coming from someone with mostly alternative and classic rock in her itunes.

recovery is simply amazing. it’s been on nonstop rotation on my ipod. why is it so great? well for one, you don’t have to skip songs. every single one is good. i have my favorites, but not one is what we like to call a “filler.” no fillers needed. you can just tell that he’s back in the right state of mind. his lyrics are so truthful and well-thought out and for once, i can relate to a lot of them.

anyway, no need for me to ramble on about it, go check it out.

WOW. i absolutely loved the fall finale of glee tonight! it’s been a long week awaiting the hyped-up finale to this year’s biggest television phenomenon and it definitely delivered. now i have to wait until april (aka go crazy) before a new episode. basically, i’m a total gleek.

guess what i’m doing at midnight tonight? yes, that’s right. i’m being a total twilight nerd and going to see new moon! i went last year at midnight with the same friend i’m dragging with me this year. i think new moon will easily surpass the original. stay tuned for my review!

ok so i apologize for those of you that read my blog and don’t watch glee. ok, i don’t apologize because you SHOULD be watching it. i know it’s been glee-ed out for the past few weeks around here. i get in these phases when i really like something whether it be music, a movie, a magazine or a tv show. and right now, i’m on a glee fix. don’t worry. i will post about other stuff too.

yeah, that’s right. i’ve fallen victim to the glee love. i’ve never been the biggest fan of musicals, but this show has a charm that just got me hooked. only 5 episodes have aired so you still have time to catch up! not to mention, the episodes are available free on hulu and the songs are available on itunes. check out glee wednesdays at 9 on fox.
